Johnathan Leonard is a Senior Project Manager at UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas. In this role, he is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of projects related to chronic disease management and improving health disparities. He is a member of the National Association of Health Service Executives (NAHSE), American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the Community Advisory Board for the UT Physicians Community Health and Wellness Center – Jensen. Johnathan is a native of Tallahassee, FL and earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University. He is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Brian Jelks is a Project Specialist at Houston Methodist Physician Organization. His responsibilities include managing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, high profile healthcare information technology, clinical education and training, and clinical service management projects impacting operational solutions for over 600 physicians. Brian serves as Treasurer for the Houston chapter of the National Association of Health Service Executives and an Ambassador at the national level. Brian is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. In addition, he participates in career development and mentoring activities at Texas A&M University, Prairie View A&M University, and Texas Southern University focused on diversity and inclusion in healthcare leadership. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Public Health from Texas A&M University.
Ayesha Williams was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health from San Diego State University. Ayesha Also has her Masters in Human Services from the University of the Rockies and Masters in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
Ayesha moved to Houston in 2012 to pursue her career in the healthcare field. Her time here has yielded her the opportunity to work for some of Houston's top healthcare organizations such as Houston Methodist Research Institute and Baylor College of Medicine. While working for these organizations she gained extensive knowledge that has helped propel her career. Ayesha currently serves as a Project Manager at Axiom Medical Consulting, LLC. where she manages customer onboarding and the implementation of new projects.
Kyandra Fox is a Health Resource Coordinator for WellCare (a Medicare Insurance Company). She works on the newly created STARS/HEDIS team in the Revenue Program Management department, where she ensures quality, drug adherence, and works to reduce HEDIS gaps. Kyandra graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2013. She acquired her Masters of Health Care Administration from Texas Woman’s University in December of 2017 with honors. In addition to her position at WellCare, Kyandra is an Adjunct Online Professor at New Mexico State University: Carlsbad where she teaches Health Information Technology, Internship, and Medical Insurance Billing for their Masters of Public Health Program.
